How to Order
Designer Paintworks will help you through the ordering process from your initial contact with us to delivery of your goods. Our five step process is outlined below:
- Initial enquiry
- Artwork and quote
- Artwork approval
- Product sample (if required)
- Production
1. Initial Enquiry
To start the ball rolling, call us or email us to outline your requirements. We'll need to know a bit about the following:
Garment type (eg. polo, t-shirt, trackies, headwear, technical top, team uniform etc)
Garment colour
Quantity
Design (a rough idea of what you are wanting to put on your garments)
From this initial contact we will be able to provide you with some images and details about the garments that will best suit your needs, as well as an idea of cost.
2. Artwork and Quote
Once you have decided on your garment and quantities, it's time to see your artwork and provide you with a formal quote.
Sometimes people come to us with just an idea or concept of what they are after, other times people are able to supply us with artwork that is ready to use. We have an in-house designer who can help transform your sketch or thoughts into ready for print artwork.
We include one hour of complimentary art and design time for each job. For complex jobs taking longer a fee is charged. This fee will be discussed with you prior to commencement and will always be kept to a minimum.

3. Artwork approval
Production of your garments will only commence once you are happy with your artwork. We will provide you with a PDF for your approval. Please remember when checking your artwork that monitor and printer colours can vary.
4. Product Samples
Product samples can be provided prior to manufacturing if required.
We offer both physical and digital sampling services. Digital samples are provided on request, however should you require a physical sample a cost is involved
5. Production
When everything is approved we commence production of your order. Turn around time is typically 1 – 2 weeks for ready made garments and 4 – 6 weeks for custom wear orders. Orders can be picked up from us or alternatively, we can deliver Australia-wide at standard postage rates.
